The reality of being a Newcastle United fan

It’s been said that being a supporter of Newcastle United is like being on a rollercoaster. Something I have long agreed with, but never more so than this last year. On May

Black Ops II

BlackOps2

I’m not sure if I am excited about this.

Although I have been playing the Call of Duty games for years and have been relatively excited for each of the new instalments in the franchise, however I’m getting quite bored of it. The game play every time is pretty much identical, it is only really the aesthetics that change game to game, ie the surroundings of the games or Maps as they are know as in the gaming community.

As it stands at the moment I will not be purchasing Black Ops II. In order for me to buy a copy there will need to be some major revamps in the game play that sets it apart from its predecessors.

From what I have seen so far, there will not be much difference. Though this may change later today with the Multiplayer game play for Black Ops II is being revealed via an online video from game developers Treyarch.

I’ll update  this post with my thoughts once I have seen it.

So as you can see above the multiplayer trailer has been released now.

Having seen it for the first time, I’m not impressed. It looks just like every other multiplayer in the past but with slight changes to the weapons to make them more futuristic. (Black Ops II is set in the year 2025 where robots rule the wars).

I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised, sadly I’m not.

With the next generation of xboxes expected to launch next year, no doubt there will be a Call of Duty game released shortly after, so I’ll see how that is and go from there.
